We have all seen our mothers and grandmothers talk about the all important root -- beetroot.Not only is beetroot great for boosting stamina and making muscles work harder, it also contains potassium, magnesium and iron as well as vitamins A, B6 and C, and folic acid.
The vibrant purple color of the dish is not only attractive, also it serves as a rich source of  anti-oxidants and healthy nutrients.

TIPS:

Beetroot can be grated instead of cutting into pieces but in the grated beetroot process water should be sprinkle.(5tbsp)

Ravva laddu

Rava  Ladoo  is one of the wonderful Indian dessert and it tastes absolutely delicious.Rava/sooji/semolina
Try this simple and exotic sweet recipe.
TIPS:
1)If you want to make it with less ghee you can add half of ghee and half of milk too.
2)While roasting the Rava, make sure you have the flames in sim, else there is a chance of the rava getting over roasted.
3)Its best to consume within 5 days of making them. If you store them in fridge, you can have them for a week.
4)The sweetness can be either more or less, as per your taste and choice. This recipe gives you a mildly sweet  rava laddu

Peanut i.e Palli Powder is quite simple and hope you love it .It goes well with Upma,Dal,Hot Rice accompanied with lots of ghee.The garlic used is raw!Its good for health.
TIPS:
1)store in an airtight container.

2)You can use sesame seeds instead of Peanuts.


3)Let the peanuts cool completely before grinding.(IMPORTANT)

Gobi 65

                                    

Cauliflower/Gobi 65 is one yummy dish which is usually a starter or tea time snack. This is one amazing dish which will have everyone likes.It can be even served as Cauliflower Pakoda .
TIPS:
1)Spice level is slightly high in this recipe, so please adjust the red chili powder to your taste.
2)This dish had to be served immediately as it stays crispy for few minutes.You can also retain its crispy texture  by placing them in the oven until ready to serve.
3)Make the spicy batter thick enough as the water in blanched cauliflower will make it little thin when added to batter. If by any chance you end up with thin batter, add few tea spoons of maida/all purpose flour or corn flower to get required consistency.
4)You can also add artificial red food colouring as they do in most restaurants.(But its not good for health).

Vermicelli payasam/Kheer is one of the most simple and delicious Sweet Item.This Recipe is so simple and can be made within minutes,It is one Traditional Sweet prepared during Festivals.

Tips:

1)If the Consistency of the kheer becomes thick.you can later add milk to adjust it.

2)Add condensed milk to the kheer ,so usually reduce the quantity of sugar in the recipe.This makes the kheer more tastier,creamier and rich.

3)If the Vermicelli  is not roasted,can be roasted in ghee till it get light brown colour.But in this recipe i used roasted vermicelli .

4)All Dry fruits can be fried at a time on low flame.

Variations:
You can add grated carrots or chopped cucumber pieces,pomegranate kernels with chopped green grapes.
TIPS:
If you like curd rice little soft,slightly mash the rice while it is still warm.
Serve it as a part of meal or as a meal by itself.Serve it with curd chillies and lemon pickle.
If you want to serve it late, then refrigerate until ready to eat.
